Year 2 of Samuel’s Mantle is designed for graduates of Year 1 who are ready to move beyond understanding the principles of fellowship with the Holy Spirit and begin living from that reality every day.
In Year 1, you established a foundation in koinonia—authentic fellowship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Year 2 builds upon that foundation by helping you cultivate a lifestyle of ongoing communion with God, where His presence becomes the natural place from which you live, listen, and respond.
Rather than viewing God as distant, you’ll discover what it means to experience Him as continually present and actively involved in your daily life. Together we’ll explore how God communicates through pictures, dreams, visions, spiritual discernment, and prophetic encounters, while remaining firmly grounded in Scripture.
A key focus of this year is understanding the profound truth found in 1 Corinthians 6:17–19—that our spirit is joined to the Spirit of God. Through practical teaching, discussion, and hands-on activation, you’ll learn how to live from that union instead of simply believing it as a theological concept.

Before You Register
Prerequisite:
Completion of Samuel’s Mantle Year 1 is required before enrolling in Year 2.
Registration Deadline:
Registration will remain open until October 22, 2026. After that (following Class 5), new students will have missed too much of the course to join.
Weekly Teaching:
Murray Dueck will teach live via Zoom each week. Every class will also be recorded and uploaded to the private Facebook group, allowing you to review the teaching or catch up on any sessions you may have missed.

Who’s Prophetic?
The answer is everyone. When the Holy Spirit was poured out in Acts 2, Peter explains to us that the fruit of the outpouring would be that we could all now hear God’s voice. For in essence that is what prophecy is, to listen to God’s voice and share what we hear. But to develop our God given abilities to hear, see, sense, feel, etc. what the Lord would like to share with us takes practice, training, and mentoring.
In Samuel’s Mantle we will help you develop your spiritual gifts to feel what is on the Lord’s heart, to see what the Father is doing, and to hear His voice. The old saying is, “teachers long to teach, pastors long to mentor, evangelists long to win souls, and prophetic people long to hear the voice of the Lord”. If the desire to hear the Lord is in your heart, Samuel’s Mantle would be a great place for you.
Why Samuel’s Mantle?
Murray’s explanation: I was praying about what to do next after I had finished my last assignment when God very clearly spoke into my spirit: “There is coming a new wind of my Spirit into the Fraser Valley and the language of this wind will be signs and wonders and dreams and vision (as stated by Acts 2). If my people receive my language in this coming season then they will be able to hear what I am telling them to do. However if they do not know how I speak and value how I speak this wind can blow right by them and they will not even know I am moving.”
The Lord then gave me a picture of a sailboat with its sail up surging forward in the sea as the wind drove it onward, and then a picture of a sailboat with its sail down not moving at all… even though the wind was blowing just as hard. The Lord then spoke again, “Build me a place where I can teach my people in this Valley to hear my voice and understand my ways. Prepare my people to understand my voice and my ways so that they can ride the wind of my Spirit.” Thus Samuel’s Mantle was born.

Building God’s Prophetic Church
The curriculum of Samuel’s Mantle is meant to build from one level of knowledge to the next. Over the course of the year we will discover how to: picture and see, sense and feel, speak what we hear from the Lord (prophecy), develop an understanding of God’s Father heart, practice in small groups, gain an understanding of why the Bible is full of symbolic language, and uncover the belief systems that block us from being able to receive from the Father. While learning all of this, we are building a listening, worshipful, and fun community environment along the way.
