Murray Dueck received his Bachelor of Religious Education from Columbia Bible College. He is the founder of Samuel’s Mantle Prophetic Training School, an organization that has trained thousands of people throughout BC and online, in learning to hear Gods’ voice through local classes, seminars, and online training. Murray currently is writing, doing itinerant work, and is the main teacher for most of the classes in Samuel’s Mantle. He is the author of three books; ‘If This Were A Dream, What Would It Mean?’ (Freshwind Press) – ‘Keepers of the Presence’ and ‘On Things Above’ (Samuel’s Mantle Press). 

Tricia Warren has been a cherished member of the Samuel’s Mantle journey since its very beginning in 2000, officially joining the staff in 2006. She brings an incredible passion for equipping and empowering people, fueled by her life mission: “to inspire, empower, and compel people to step into and pursue what they are passionate about.” Trish’s heart for helping others grow and thrive is evident in everything she does.

At Samuel’s Mantle, Tricia is a true multi-tasker and wears many hats. As the Operations Manager, she ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. As Marketing Director, she brings creativity and strategy to sharing the vision and mission of Samuel’s Mantle with the world. On top of that, she manages the organization’s charity status, takes care of tax filings, handles registrations for classes, and occasionally teaching a class or two. She joyfully plays a vital role in keeping many aspects of the ministry running seamlessly!

Eric Janzen lives in Abbotsford, British Columbia with his wife and daughters. He has helped to lead a church, been a worship leader, and enjoys teaching others about who God is. He is the author of a small book called, “A Handbook for Burden Bearers” which provides helpful insight for those who are spiritually sensitive. He is also the author of: The Dreamtrekker Journals Trilogy, which are for fun…because that’s important as well. He has been learning to hear the voice of Jesus since he was a child and looks forward to learning more.

Eric McCooeye has been involved with Samuel’s Mantle from it’s inception speaking into leadership, covering with prayer, and  teaching on the resting place.  Currently Eric is overseeing the prophetic outreach of Samuel’s Mantle into the community. Eric is in contact with various ministries and people looking for avenues to impact the region with the voice of the Lord and the heart of God.

Paul Taylor brings over 30 years of pastoral ministry experience to the team of Samuel’s Mantle. He has a deep passion to hear and respond to the heart of The Lord. He loves to see others trained to understand “the whisper of the Spirit” and be transformed by The Spirits touch. Living in Kelowna, Paul enjoys life with his wife Marilyn, their two children, three grandchildren and an occasional round of golf.

Jon Paul Vooys is a musician, graphic artist and web designer. He is our web designer, and he keeps us up to date on the website with the technical / design side of things

Bruce Warren graduated from Western University where he studied Socially, and then we went on to Regent College, where he studied Biblical Studies.  Bruce is the Technical Producer / Worship Leader for Samuel’s Mantle – you will find him at our events making the sounds sound amazing, and in our office – trouble shooting technical issues!  Bruce lives in Kelowna with his wife Tricia, where they pastor a church.

Sonya Yamanaka is Samuel’s Mantle’s official intercessor. Sonya often travels to different countries doing ministry and interceding for organizations. Her most recent trips have been to Japan and Israel. This year Sonya organizes and helps teach the youth in Samuel’s Mantle Teens
