Learning to Use the Gift of Vision – The Mystery of Symbolic Language
We are all called to see in the Spirit.
- Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God (Matthew 5:8)
- I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. (Ephesians 1:17)
In this series of classes we want to learn how to picture and interact with Jesus with the gift of seeing in the Spirit. Part One of this two part class will be on the biblical use of symbolism – the language the Lord speaks when we are learning to see:
As we read the bible it becomes apparent after a while that the Holy Spirit speaks a certain language – the language of symbolism. From the Psalms and David’s green fields and still waters, to Jesus’ use of parables, or the image of Lion, Lamb, and Bride in the book of Revelation – everywhere you look the Lord is speaking in symbols.
What is the Lord’s purpose in it all, why:
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. (Prov 25:2)
In this seminar you’ll discover:
Why the Lord uses symbolic language
How this language gets you closer to the Lord’s heart
How symbolism moves you from your head to your heart/ innerman
And see how the Lord is still speaking this language to you all the time!
Part 2 of this Seminar will be activating the eyes of the heart with the Holy Spirit (Eph 1:17- 18).
